Dear Illinois Resident,
Serving as your State Treasurer is a wonderful honor and a great responsibility that I take very seriously.
That’s why I’m pleased to share my first Annual Report, highlighting some of the new initiatives, investment performance and office improvements that took place in 2007.
As I pledged upon taking office, my goal is to make the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office the best in the nation. And while we’ve had a very productive first year, I plan on working even harder and doing more for the people of Illinois in year ahead.
